An Evening With Jade Ford…

An Evening With Debut Romantasy Author Jade Ford
from £3.00

Join The Imaginarium and Jade Ford for an evening discussing her new book Nature’s Tributes

We’ll be talking about Jade’s work, her journey to becoming an author, and we’ll have some romantasy book based fun!

Nature’s Tributes is published on 25th March, and is the first tension-filled instalment in the Nature's War series, following human tribute Rosalind as she is thrown into the world of the fae, forced to compete alongside other human contestants in Nature's Trials, a series of lethal challenges based on the seven deadly sins. No one but you can control your actions. But are you ruled by your mind...or your heart? Beyond these doors, we will find out. As punishment for destroying her lands, Nature has selected six human tributes to enter the realm of the fae and compete in her lethal trials. Most will die.

Perhaps all. This is the brutality of Nature. When Rosalind wakes up in the land of Eleria, chosen as one of the six, her only thought is of survival.

Paired with the mischievous, handsome Winter fae Aalto, she must set aside her distrust of the fae if she is to stand a chance of making it through the trials. But what happens when she finds herself battling for more than just her life?

About Jade:

Jade Ford has an undergraduate degree in Zoology and a MSc in Genomic Medicine and sees magic in the beauty of nature. For years she dreamed of combining her fascination with Science and her love for the mystical, leading to her debut fantasy novel Nature’s Tributes, a quirky combination of fey, magic, and the repercussions of upsetting Nature! A proud book dragon, she can be bribed away from her hoard of books with offerings of cups of tea and biscuits (although she’d really prefer to have them alongside)

World Book Day 2025

Grab your WORLD BOOK DAY book in store!

World Book Day is a charity that champion’s the fun of reading, because it seriously improves lives. Reading for fun is the single biggest indicator that a child will grow up to enjoy a happier and more successful life – more than their family circumstances, their parents’ educational backgrounds or their income.

But here’s the challenge, it’s at an all-time low, with only 1 in 3 children now saying they enjoy reading. We believe children are more likely to read if they enjoy it, so we’re on a mission to encourage them to see reading as an entertaining, social and fun thing to do. We want more children to grow up with a life-long, life-changing habit of reading for fun, and all the benefits this brings.

World Book Day are a charity that operates in the UK and Ireland and will next be celebrating World Book Day on 6 March 2025.

Your littles ones will receive a voucher from their school if they’re in educational settings, or if they are home educated, you can register for vouchers here

We will be accepting vouchers until Sunday 23rd March. Alternatively, you can purchase the World Book Day books for £1 each.
