The Doll’s House Review
This is an excellent book for young children which follows the adventures of Sienna, a little girl who is adopted by Inga and Matt, whose daughter, Annika, went missing a few years ago. Sienna is intrigued by the unusual disappearance of Anika and has an immediate desire to solve this mystery.
Jayde’s Favourite Reads So Far This Year!
It’s been an interesting year so far with lots of new books coming out and my genre phases chopping and changing constantly and slumps hitting left, right and centre. Despite all that, I have managed to read 35 books this year with a mix of good, bad and unmentionable books.

The Skull book review
Award- winning picture book creator Jon Klassen created this spooky retelling of a traditional Tyrolean folktale. The book begins with immediate action as the main character, Otilla, runs away through the forest. We never find out what she is running away from but it is clear that she is determined to get as far away as possible.

I couldn’t have gotten off to a better start to the year, with this being my first book and it absolutely blowing me away. Recommended to me by a very trusted friend and for the millionth time I have found that her recommendation lives up to standard.
Our Range of Children’s Graphic Novels
Graphic Novels can be a great way to get your children interested in reading or to continue reading after losing interest. Graphic Novels tend to be visually interesting and stimulating and so may be more likely to capture and keep their attention than a chapter book. We have a small range of children’s Graphic Novels from laughing out loud with animals dealing with a human invasion or solving a mystery with Investi-Gators to taking flight with a dragon to end a war between tribes and fulfilling a mysterious prophecy.
